Weldon Creek, the premier subdivision in central Colorado, is the Salida-area’s only gated community. It is located about 12 miles west of Salida, just north of Hwy 50 before Maysville. It has very large, secluded lots, in rolling hills with great views. Lots are priced $105,000 up to $295,000.
Trailside Estates is one of the newest developments in the town of Salida. It features a circular layout with nicely spaced homes on beautifully landscaped lots. Most houses are complete, although a few lots are still available. Home prices start at $290,000.
Las Colinas is a well-placed subdivision in the valley bottom about 7 miles north of Salida on Highway 291. There are unobstructed mountain views all around, easy year-round access, flat building sites and quiet paved streets. Completed homes start at $399,000.
Cochetopa Estates is a completed subdivision on the western edge of Salida, with all lots sold and houses built. This small circular development has newer homes with a nice variety of gracious designs. If you are looking for a neat, child-friendly neighborhood within walking distance of downtown Salida this is the place. Home availability varies.
