Shavano Estates – Salida Colorado
Shavano Estates is a small subdivision just off Highway 50 on the west end of Salida. A nice wide paved loop road makes this an ideal starter home development that is very child-friendly. The homes are relatively small and neat with good landscaping. Homes start at $190,000.
Maysville Meadows – Maysville Colorado
Maysville Meadows is a lovely, small, quiet subdivision tucked in along a wooded stream next to the cute little town of Maysville, Colorado. It is in a picturesque valley at the foot of the real mountains on the way to Monarch Ski and Snowboard Area. Lots start at $95,000.
Starbuck Dairy Subdivision – Salida Colorado
Starbuck Dairy subdivision is located directly off Highway 50 on the west side of Salida. It is within walking distance of some restaurants and shopping and is only a short drive from historic downtown Salida. This is a newer subdivision with many commercial, residential single and duplex lots still available. Home packages start at $239,000.
Cameron Meadows – Salida Colorado
Cameron Meadows is a small subdivision just off Highway 285 north of Poncha Springs. Created by Pinon Development, this subdivision offers several home plans, all “Built Green” by local builders. Homes start at $400,000 and include the price of the lot.
Chipeta Meadows – Salida Colorado
This is a very small residential development on the edge of Salida proper. It consists of a single cul-de-sac with about a dozen single and two family homes. The homes are recently constructed, but old enough to have mature landscaping. Pricing and availability varies as the development is no longer expanding.
Saddle Ridge Ranch – Salida Colorado
Saddle Ridge Ranch, a few miles north of Poncha Springs, offers the best of both worlds : a flat easy-to-build section, and a rugged section with more private building sites. Both areas have great views of Mt. Shavano and the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Lots start at $179,000, completed homes start around $800,000.
